Philosophy with a four-year-old

Monika: Why do people kill God?

Me: Because they’re bad, Momo.

Monika: But why are people bad?

Me: Well, why do you do bad things?

Monika: I don’t know.

Me: There was a man named Socrates who said that people do bad things because they don’t know what is good. What do you think about that?

Monika: No. I do bad things because God goes away. Because he died. God just goes away and I do bad things.

Monika: Why are there too many people on earth?

Me: How many people should there be, Momo?

Monika: Ten.

Me: Ten people? That’s almost no one!

Monika: No. Everyone on earth should be one family.
