The Wisdom books of the Old Testament are poems! No essays, no treatises, little prose (Tobit?)

Tobit has plenty of poetry, too, though. Everyone’s got canticles left and right. Lots of parallelism, too, which makes for gorgeous literature…sigh. The Bible really is so well written. (It should be, considering its Author.)
